Hazrat Khadijah (سلام اللہ علیہ)

Hazrat Khadijah bint Khuwaylid was the first wife of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is highly respected in Islamic history. She was a wealthy and successful businesswoman in Mecca before marrying Muhammad (PBUH).

Here are some important points about her life and importance:

1. Early Life and Business:

Khadija was born in Mecca around 555-557 CE into a respectable family of the Quraysh tribe. She inherited her father's business and became a prominent businesswoman who was known for her honesty and integrity.

2. Marriage to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):

Khadija was the first wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They got married when she was about 40 years old, and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was about 25 years old. Their marriage lasted for 25 years until his death.

In this married life, not only did he sacrifice himself but everything related to himself for the Holy Prophet. In these 25 years, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) did not marry anyone else, that is, he was almost 51 years old, that is, the age of marriage is between 25, 26 and 30. A person is in the prime of his youth. The Holy Prophet did not marry anyone else. Until he was almost 51 years old and Hazrat Khadija (peace be upon him) passed away. Now, all the marriages that the Holy Prophet has done after this were done in these 11 years, which were after the death of Hazrat Khadija. This shows what position Hazrat Khadija (peace be upon him) had in the life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) that in her presence he did not think of any other marriage and was content only with Hazrat Khadija. And Hazrat Khadija also fulfilled her right to be a righteous wife. Therefore, Imam Bukhari has quoted this tradition in Bukhari from Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) from Hazrat Al-Murtada (peace be upon him). The Holy Prophet said that in this world, Hazrat Maryam was the most excellent in her time, and in this world, the most excellent is Hazrat Khadija (peace be upon her). This is a narration from Bukhari, and there are other narrations in which, besides Hazrat Maryam, Hazrat Asiya and besides Hazrat Khadija, Hazrat Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) have been declared among the most excellent and best women.

3. Muhammad's Support:

Khadija was the first person to believe in Muhammad's prophethood when the first revelation from Allah came to him through Gabriel. She provided him with emotional and financial support in the early years of Islam, especially when he faced opposition from Meccan society.

The entire economic boycott that took place during this time, yes, it happened in this very life.

4.Shu'aib Abi Talib

Shu'aib Abi Talib was trapped in a mountain gorge for three years, with no home, no bed, no food, and the entire Muslim tribe of Shu'aib Abi Talib. She lived among the rocks for three years and had nothing to eat. If she found anything with great difficulty, she would sometimes even ask for a turn so that she could suck it and put it in the mouth of the next Muslim. In this state, there were children, old people, young people, and Hazrat Khadija herself, the Queen of the Arabs. Just imagine how much sacrifice she made from this point to this point for the sake of the Holy Prophet and for the sake of the Holy Prophet's religion.

5. Children

Khadija and Muhammad had children together: two sons, Qasim and Abdullah (both died in infancy), and Fatima(سلام اللہ علیہ). Fatima(سلام اللہ علیہ) has special importance in Islamic history as the mother of the Prophet's grandsons, Hassan and Hussein.

6. The title

(1) "Mother of the Believers":

Khadija is honored in Islam as one of the "Mothers of the Believers" (Ama al-Mu'minin), a title given to the wives of the Prophet of Islam.

Malika Al-Arab

She has many titles, one of which is Malika Al-Arab because she was the richest woman in Arabia and she sacrificed all her wealth and possessions for Islam and spent them on the religion of the Holy Prophet.

7. Death:

Khadija died in 619 AD, about three years before the Hijrah (migration of Muhammad and his followers to Medina). Her death was a great loss for the Prophet of Islam. Hazrat Khadija (peace be upon her) is a woman in this sense. When we look at the time of Hazrat Khadija's final death, a person really aches there. She is on her deathbed. The Holy Prophet is present. Now when this woman leaves this world or is leaving, the condition and condition of the Holy Prophet is visible. The Holy Prophet cries. When he starts to say goodbye, there are two or three sentences of Hazrat Khadija al-Kubra that really ache a person. She says, "O Messenger of Allah, I am ashamed that I did not do you justice in life." The Holy Prophet aches, aches, he says, "O Khadija, you have done everything that was possible for you in the best way and there is no blame on you. You are the most noble and excellent woman."

8.Will

Hazrat Khadija said, O Messenger of Allah, I have a will. He said, "What is it?" She said, "My daughter Fatima has no one after me, she is alone. Take care of her in this way. No one should hurt her, no one should slap her, no one should bother her. Just take care of her." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Rest assured, I will take full care of her." After that, he said a very strange sentence. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a will. But she is shy while telling you that I want to tell my daughter." The Holy Prophet immediately went outside. Hazrat Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) was sitting there. She said, "Son, tell your father, I am afraid of the horrors of the grave. Therefore, tell your father to give me the shroud of your father that you carried when the revelation was revealed, so that it can be used as my shroud." As soon as Hazrat Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) said this to her father. The Holy Prophet called for his father and shrouded him. When Hazrat Khadija al-Kubri (peace be upon her) took this shroud, the angel of death came and Hazrat Khadija al-Kubri left this world, but Hazrat Gabriel came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, Allah has chosen your wife in such a way that there is no difficulty for her in this world, but as her shroud, Allah has sent the clothes of Paradise. This is the shroud of Paradise for your wife. Now the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) first shrouded his father as a shroud, then put the cloth of Paradise on top of it that came as a shroud." Wearing two shrouds, Hazrat Khadija (peace be upon her) left this world. Now, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) has left for a wife who is the soul of this entire world. If she is not there, then nothing will come to the world. If there is a world, then because of the Prophet, that person should cry for this wife and say, "This whole year I will mourn, I will resolve, this whole year is a year of sorrow for me." There are two cases, one is Hazrat Abu Talib and one is Hazrat Khadija, but this whole year, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) has mourned and oppressed for the whole year because of these two persons. This is not a small matter. This is that person. I pray to Allah Almighty that our hearts are being illuminated by the light of these persons. Khadija is remembered for her unwavering faith, strength and devotion to Islam. She holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims around the world as a symbol of piety, loyalty and resilience.
